Coaching enabled me to stop wondering, and start doing.

Elle McAttamney

Elle McAtamney is a PR Manager from London.

I’ve been working in my career for over a decade now, but there’s always been a part of me that wondered if it was something I was genuinely passionate about, or whether it was a career I fell into and never knew how to climb out of. The fact that I was having these feelings said it all really.

I’m someone who worries about having regrets later in life and I suppose this potential threat of remorse is what finally pushed me – in short,  it encouraged me to stop wondering, and start doing.

Honestly, I had no idea where to start when it comes to finding a career coach but I’m so glad that I found Marianne as part of the random searching online. I’ve found the entire process enlightening. So many half-thoughts I’ve had about my skills, values and interests have been figured out during our sessions. I’m someone who needs to take baby steps (I haven’t quit my job or anything) – but I have started a course in Counselling now which I have suspicions, longer term, could be an ideal career for me. I don’t think I would have done this had I not had sessions with Marianne – I probably would have thought it too big, too expensive, or too hard. With her help, I’m learning that things aren’t black and white, and that if it’s something I truly believe in, I’ll make it happen somehow.

Anyone who is on the fence about their career, or maybe wants to figure out what is important to them in life as much as their career, but haven’t a clue where to start, I would highly recommend Marianne. I guarantee you will learn so much about yourself as a minimum, and have a few laughs along the way too.

Let’s explore new possibilities for your career.

Are you burned out?  At a crossroads?  Yearning to do something more meaningful but don’t know where to start?  If so, then drop me a line, and I will see if I can help.
